Le violoniste Vadim Gluzman, le Violoncelliste Johannes Moser et le pianiste Yevgeny Sudbin associent leurs talents pour nous offrir, dans une prise de son exemplaire signée Marion Schwebel, un des plus enthousiasmants SACD de musique de chambre de ces dernières années. Trois compositeurs sont de la fête. Piotr Ilyich Tchaïkovsky et son célèbre Trio pour piano Op.50 « A la mémoire d’un grand artiste », il s’agissait, en l’occurrence, du musicien Nicolas Rubinstein, frère d’Anton Rubinstein, puis Arno Babajanian (1921-1983) avec son Trio pour piano en trois mouvements datant de 1952, et pour finir, comme une cerise sur le gâteau, l’arrangement de Yevgeny Sudbin de « Tango » tiré de l’opéra « Life with an idiot » d’Alfred Schnittke datant de 1992. Tout cela forme un parcours d’une riche musicalité sublimée par trois des plus grands musiciens de leur génération. Avis aux amateurs.

Quite a group of musicians on this recording. The violinist Vadim Gluzman, the cellist Johannes Moser, and the pianist Yevgeny Sudbin associate their talents to offer us, in an exemplary sound recording signed Marion Schwebel, one of the most enthusiastic SACDs of chamber music of late.
