L’organiste norvégien Terje Winge, qui fut notamment l’élève de Gaston Litaize à Paris, propose ici trois œuvres pour orgue de compositeurs contemporains. La première ouvrant le programme de l’enregistrement s’intitule « Sonata « De profondis » » op.143. En trois mouvements, elle est signée Kjell Mork Karlsen né en 1947 et fut composée en 2003. La seconde pièce, portant le titre « la Tombeau de Dupré » Op.62 fait bien évidemment référence au célèbre organiste français. Elle se décline en cinq parties et fut composée par Trygve Madsen, né en 1940, durant l’année 1989. Ce parcours passionnant s’achève avec l’œuvre de Kjell Flem, né en 1943. Elle porte le titre « Ecclesia in mundo » et trouve notamment son inspiration chez l’autre grand organiste français Olivier Messiaen. Au cœur d’un technique infaillible, qu’un prise de son à la fois puissante et éblouissante rend encore plus tangible, le jeu de terje Winge fait merveille. Bref, voici une découverte majeure pour tous les amoureux du Roi des instruments.

The Norwegian organish Terje Winge, who was most notably the student of Gaston Litaize in Paris, here proposes three works for organ by contemporary composers.
