"Organised Delirium "de la pianiste Tamara Stefanovich, est une véritable exploration personnelle de la forme sonate, centrée sur la "Deuxième Sonate pour piano" de Pierre Boulez (1933-2016), que la musicienne a étudiée en étroite collaboration avec le compositeur. L’œuvre de Boulez représente une réorganisation de la musique après sa destruction pendant la seconde guerre mondiale. L’album comprend également des sonates du XXe siècle de Hanns Eisler (1898-1962), Béla Bartók (1881-1945) et Dimitri Chostakovitch (1906-1975), remettant en question l’utilisation du terme "sonate". Un parcours musical qui s’achève, par un retour aux sources de la sonate, avec une pièce de Domenico Scarlatti (1685-1757). Ce couplage ambitieux, d’une rigueur d’exécution remarquable, s’inscrit dans le cadre du centenaire de Pierre Boulez et approfondit la compréhension de la sonate sous ses multiples formes. Tamara Stefanovich (née en 1973) est une pianiste germano-serbe reconnue pour ses interprétations du répertoire contemporain et classique. Elle a étudié à l’Université de Belgrade dès l’âge de 13 ans, puis au Curtis Institute of Music à Philadelphie avant de poursuivre sa formation en Allemagne sous la direction de Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Aujourd’hui, avec ce CD, c’est à une fête de l’esprit et des sens à laquelle nous sommes conviés.

“Organised Delirium” by pianist Tamara Stefanovich is a truly personal exploration of the sonata form, centered on Pierre Boulez’s (1933-2016) “Second Piano Sonata,” which the musician studied in close collaboration with the composer. Boulez’s work represents a reorganization of music after its destruction during World War II. The album also includes 20th-century sonatas by Hanns Eisler (1898-1962), Béla Bartók (1881-1945), and Dmitri Shostakovich (1906-1975), challenging the use of the term “sonata.” The musical journey ends with a return to the roots of the sonata with a piece by Domenico Scarlatti (1685-1757). This ambitious pairing, performed with remarkable rigor, is part of the Pierre Boulez centenary celebrations and deepens our understanding of the sonata in its many forms. Tamara Stefanovich (born in 1973) is a German-Serbian pianist renowned for her interpretations of contemporary and classical repertoire. She studied at the University of Belgrade from the age of 13, then at the Curtis Institute of Music in Philadelphia before continuing her training in Germany under Pierre-Laurent Aimard. Today, with this CD, we are invited to a feast for the mind and the senses.
