Après avoir commencé le piano à l’âge de 5 ans, la pianiste russe, Yulianna Avdeeva débute ses études à l’Académie de musique Gnessine de Moscou, puis à la Haute École d’art de Zurich auprès de Konstantin Scherbakov, dont elle devient l’assistante après l’obtention de son diplôme. Elle accède à la reconnaissance internationale en remportant le premier prix du XVIe concours Chopin de Varsovie en 2010, première femme à obtenir ce prix depuis Martha Argerich en 1965. Chambriste dévouée, Yulianna a effectué des tournées régulières dans toute l’Europe avec notamment les violonistes Julia Fischer et Gidon Kremer. After having begun to play the piano at the age of five, the Russian pianist, Yulianna Avdeeva, began her studies at the Gnessine Acadamy of Music in Moscow, then at the Haute École d’Art in Zurich under Konstantin Scherbakov, to whom she became the assistant after obtaining her degree. She became internationally well-known when she won the first prize at the 16th Chopin competition in Warsaw in 2010, thus becoming the first woman to obtain the prize since Martha Argerich in 1965. A devoted chamber musician, Yulianna toured regularly all over Europe with most notably the violinists Julia Fischer and Gidon Kremer.
