Voici un enregistrement remarquable consacré à l’un des plus grands compositeurs français du XXe siècle, Pascal Dusapin, né en 1955. Trois partitions sont présentes sur l’enregistrement qui nous occupe ici. « Wenn Du dem Wind… » pour mezzo-soprano et orchestre datant de2014. Il s’agit de trois scènes tirées de l’opéra « Penthesilea », « Aufgang », Concerto pour violon et orchestre de 2011 avec en soliste Carolin Widmann, et pour conclure, « A Quia », Concerto pour piano et orchestre datant de 2002, avec le pianiste Nicolas Hodges. La musique de Pascal Dusapin utilise notamment la micro tonalité au cœur d’une richesse polyphonique marquante. Les œuvres abordées sur ce SACD à la prise de son exemplaire signée Matthias Spitzbarth, sont défendues avec brio et plénitude par l’Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire que dirige Pascal Rophé, soutenant le discours musical inspiré des deux solistes. Here is a remarkable recording devoted to one the greatest French composers of the 20th century, Pascal Dusapin, born in 1955.
