Voici une révélation pour cette rentrée 2018. En effet, le violoniste ukrainien Aleksey Semenenko nous offre un véritable « feu d’artifice », à la hauteur de son talent, avec des œuvres arrangées ou adaptées pour violon et piano. Ce parcours flamboyant débute avec la Sonate pour violon et piano N°1 Op.8 de Edvard Grieg, puis vient la Sérénade mélancolique pour violon et orchestre Op.26 de Tchaikovsky, dans la transcription du compositeur russe, suivit par « Figaro », paraphrases pour orchestre de Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco d’après Rossini, dans une transcription pour piano et violon du compositeur lui-même, « I Palpiti », introduction et variations de Niccolo Paganini sur des thèmes de Tancrède de Rossini avec une transcription pour violon et piano signée Fritz Kreisler datant de 1905, et pour finir, la célèbre Fantaisie D.934 pour violon et piano de Franz Schubert datant de 1827. Accompagné au piano, avec fougue et subtilité à la fois, par Inna Firsova, Aleksey Semenenko affiche une technique des plus redoutables au service d’un discours musical au souffle puissant. Sous son archet, chaque partition abordée offre l’inspiration de l’instant où l’émotion s’épanouie avec naturel. Bref, un artiste à suivre assurément.
