Proposant des œuvres de Jean-Sébastien Bach et de Krzysztof Penderecki, ce SACD est une des plus belles parutions du moment. La flûtiste Tatjana Ruhland nous offre un programme copieux débutant avec la « Suite pour orchestre N°2 BWV.1067 pour flûte, cordes et basse continue, avec au clavecin Christian Schmitt. Vient ensuite la seule œuvre du compositeur polonais présente sur l’enregistrement, le « Concerto pour flûte et orchestre de chambre » datant de 1992. Puis Bach à nouveau avec la « Sonate pour flûte seule » BWV.1033, dont la paternité semble sujette au doute, et pour finir la « Partita pour flûte seule » BWV.1013. Sir Roger Norrington dirige les œuvres du Cantor de Leipzig alors que Alexander Liebreich conduit le concerto de Penderecki. S’étalant sur les années 2009, 2010, 2014, cet enregistrement est avant tout la révélation d’une grande artiste, Tatjana Ruhland, qui délivre un discours musical chaleureux, virtuose et inspiré au cœur de sonorités envoûtantes. In proposing the works of Jean-Sebastien Bach and Krzyszof Penerecki, this SACD is one of the best releases at the moment. The flutist Tatjana Ruhland offers us a copious program beginning with the Suite for Orchestra N°2 BWV.1067 for Flute, Strings, and Basso Continuo, with Christian Schmitt on the keyboard. Next comes the only work by the Polish composer present on the disc, the Concerto for Flute and Chamber Orchestra, dating from 1992. Then once again Bach with the Sonata for Flute BWV.1033, of which the paternity seems to be somewhat in doubt, and to finish the Partita for Flute BWV.1013.
