Une nouvelle dimension sonore nous est alors offerte pour redécouvrir les célèbres partitions de Richard Strauss que sont « Don Juan », « Mort et Transfiguration », « Till L’Espiègle » dans l’interprétation légendaire de Wilhelm Furtwängler qui dirige l’Orchestre Philharmonique de Vienne, et les « Quatre Derniers Lieder » avec Elisabeth Schwarzkopf et le Philharmonia que dirige Otto Ackermann. Nous ne le dirons jamais assez, la série « Réminiscences » du label Praga Digitals est une véritable bénédiction pour tous les mélomanes et les audiophiles qui se respectent.
